International Women's Day is Thursday March 8th, 2018. We are excited to celebrate with fellow women-owned businesses by participating in two pop-up shops!

From 10:30am - 2pm, visit Get It Made at 1871's Women's Day Maker Fair. 1871 was recently ranked the number one business incubator in the world for its work with local universities like Northwestern. The Women's Day event will empower women entrepreneurs through workshops, discussions, and experiences like the maker fair.

After our day at 1871, we will be preparing for an evening shopping event at the Get It Made showroom in River West.

Shop Local, Support Women

We'll be celebrating the end of our first Kickstarter campaign and first maker project out of mHub, Zig Zag Pow! Those who help fund our project on Kickstarter can choose and take home their favorite Zig Zag Pow! earring styles during this shopping event. We will also be featuring products designed to empower women from our Cool and Custom shop. Sip on complimentary beer and wine and meet the creative hustlers behind some of Chicago's women-owned businesses.

Shoppers may also enjoy delicious boozy cupcakes from Intoxicakes until they run out. Learn more about cocktail-inspired cupcakes made locally in Chicago and order St. Patrick's Day cupcake flavors like Green Chicago River or Irish Cream & Chocolate.

Check out pieces from the creative sisters behind Amelia Street Studios, including the Resist and Persist collection

If you cannot make it to our pop-up shop, fear not! Bossy Chicago has a directory of local women-owned businesses you can browse any time.
