For Shopify users, having an online store is only beginning of selling online. Shopify store owners manage products in their Shopify store, and can push those products to a variety of sales channels.

What is a Sales Channel?

Sales channels are different marketplaces where products can be purchased. By linking your different sales channels to Shopify, it’s an easier way to manage all your products and orders in one location.

Adding sales channels is easy from your Shopify admin account. All you need to do is click on sales channels. To remove them, you just click the trash can next to that sales channel. After you add your different sales channels, it will be located under Sales Channels in Shopify. Each channel will also have a page that shows a summary of its recent analytics and sales.

Shopify store owners have a lot of options when it comes to selling products through online channels. The right channels to use depend on the nature of your business, but some channels are popular among the majority of Shopify sites.
