How to Enable In-Store Pickup With Your Shopify Store

Updated June 26, 2020

Shopify has a feature for brick-and-mortar stores that allows store owners to set up the option for customers to order online and pick up in the retail store. It is very easy and straightforward. All you have to do is change the shipping rate in Shopify for “in-store pickup” to free and allow the option for your location(s) where customers can pick up their orders. The process is very simple, any order that is placed that chooses the pickup option must be checked by an employee that the product is in stock so that a notification can be sent to the customer to pick up their order. After that, the order can be marked as completed, which changes the status from unfulfilled to fulfilled.

We have created a short 3 section, step-by-step guide in this post for you to follow so that you can have this easy access to this feature as well with your Shopify store!
